ROOMS:
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is divided into 3 village areas, the Casitas, the Ranchos and the
Cabanas. The Casitas are commonly used for the convention accommodations. The Ranchos have a more rustic, rural flavor to them. The Cabanas are 2-story Mexican-style bungalows. The typical guest room is 314 square feet and has 2 double beds, a table with 2 chairs, a coffeemaker, an iron and ironing board, a TV, a dresser, a nightstand, a hair dryer, and a single sink and mirror in a vanity area outside of the tub and commode. There are handicap-accessible rooms available as well, with one king size bed, and a wheel-chair accessible shower in place of a tub.
TIP: For a room close to the main pool (the Dig Site), ask for Casitas building 5, Rancho building 7A or 7B, or Cabanas building 8A. If you like to be close to the main building and food court area, request Casitas building 1 or Cabanas 9B. For a room closest to the main bus stop, ask for Casitas 1.
Coronado Springs is the only moderate resort to offer suites: The suites offer a Southwestern theme. With bright and colorful décors and the furnishings are casual and comfortable.
Jr, Suite - is a one bedroom suite with 2 double beds in
the bedroom. The parlor has a sleeper sofa, television,
wall safe and coffeemaker. There are 2 baths. Sleeps 6.

Jr. King Suite – sleeps 4. The bedroom has a king bed
and 20” television. The parlor has a queen sico bed. There
is also a coffeemaker, wall safe and 2 baths. 628 sq. ft.
VIP One Bedroom – has 2 double beds in the bedroom
and a sleeper sofa in the parlor. There is also a tv, vcr,
stereo, coffeemaker, refrigerator and 2 baths. Sleps 6.

king bed. The parlor has a queen sico bed, wet bar, fax,

bedroom. The second bedroom has 2 double beds.

A wide range of recreational activities
La Vida Health Club: Work out on state-of-the-art exercise equipment, or schedule a rejuvenating massage.
Arcade: Play a variety of video and pinball games at the Jumping Beans Arcade located in the El Centro building or at the Iguana Arcade next to the feature pool at the Dig Site.
Playground: Climb, slide and play to your heart's content on a playground located at the Dig Site.
Jogging Trail: Take a scenic .9-mile run, walk or stroll around Lago Dorado.
Volleyball Court: Grab a pal for a friendly match on the sand.
Bike Rentals: Rent a bike or surrey for a leisurely ride along the Esplanade.
POOL: The Dig Site is the main pool area at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Here you will find a sand volleyball court, an arcade, a poolside bar, an enormous hot tub, a playground and of course, a large pool! A Mayan pyramid is the centerpiece of this 120' by 90' pool. This area is like a mini-water park with a 123 foot long water slide with a jaguar perched over the water slide to spit water at guests as they go down the slide. Pool towels are available at the Dig Site. There are 3 quiet pools, one at each of the village areas, but guests must bring their room towels here as pool towels are not offered.
Watercraft Rentals: Spend some time on the river with a kayak, canopy boat, pontoon boat or WaterMouse, Sea Raycer by Sea Ray®.
Rental Policy Recreational Boats - WaterMouse, permits Guests at least 12 years old and 5 feet tall to operate independently as long as the parent/legal guardian signs for the child.
DINING:
The Pepper Market Food Court
There is a food court and a sit down restaurant at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. The Pepper Market Food Court is an interesting alternative to the typical food court. Upon entering, you are seated by a host/hostess, and each guest in your party receives a card. You can go to any of the food counters to order, and as you get your food, your card is stamped to reflect your order. At the end of your meal, you present your card(s) to the cashier for payment. A 10% gratuity is automatically included, as there are bussers available to refill your drinks, clean the tables, etc. There is a wide variety of food available here, such as Mexican (tostados, burritos, tacos, etc) pizza, hamburgers, rotisserie chicken, baked goods, pasta, sandwiches and Asian stir-fry. The hours are usually from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Maya Grill
The full service restaurant, the Maya Grill, offers Mexican and American Southwestern cuisine. Breakfast buffets are also available here. Breakfast hours are 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and dinner hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Room service is available, but has a limited menu. A continental breakfast is available from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and pizza, cold sandwiches, and salads are offered from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Rix Lounge
Offers specialty drinks, appetizers and entertainment in a Mediterranean setting. Hours are 5pm - 2am. This location is on the dining plan.
