Boat Rental

A variety of boats are available to rent on Castaway Cay

at Gil's Fins and Boats. Boats are subject to availability;

walk-up rental only. Children under 13 must be

accompanied by an adult. All prices are for one-half hour

rental.

Float Rentals

Relax and enjoy the swim lagoon on your very own float.

Also, great to use for lying out on the beach. Clear inner

tubes available for old fashioned water fun.

Bicycle Rentals

Explore the trails and paths of Castaway Cay from an

Island Bicycle. Child Seats are available.

Castaway Cay Getaway Package

Get all the fun under the sun for one convenient rate!

Package includes snorkel equipment and float rental

for the entire day, plus a 1-hour bicycle rental. Children

under 13 must be accompanied by and adult.

The Wild Side (4 hours)

It's time for some action and adventure as you re-trace

some of the activities of the first teens on Castaway Cay - Molly and Seth. Snorkeling, Biking and Sea Kayaking on the wild side of the island will complete this 4-hour adventure!

Parasailing

Come experience the fun, thrills and excitement of the most enjoyable parasail ride in The Bahamas. No experience required. The parasailing ride is designed to be enjoyed by Guests age 8 and older. While soaring single or tandem high above beautiful Castaway Cay you will enjoy a spectacular view of the shimmering sand, turquoise water, and breath-taking skyline. An unforgettable experience with an ultra-modern, state-of-the-art winch-boat for a fun and comfortable ride. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Banana Boat Ride (17-20 minutes)

It's fun, it's exciting, it's the Banana Ride at Castaway Cay. The Banana boat is an inflatable water sled, pulled by a jet Ski holding 10 people on it. It is a ride that the whole family can enjoy together. We will take you through the Cay inlet as we glide over the Caribbean waves. You may even see dolphins play or a flying fish skim over the water. With the wind in your hair, the water around you and the sun on your face, it is an experience that you will long remember.

Castaway Cay Bottom Fishing (3-3.5 hours)

This excursion allows fishermen the opportunity to perfect their skills or just experience the fun and challenge of reeling in their catch. You will be joined by up to 5 other fishermen. All fishing tackel and bait is provided along with bottled water and soda. Children 12 and under must wear a life vest.

The following are new shore excursions:

Scuba Diving (12 years and older, children 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult)

Scuba diving at Castaway Cay for both ships/ Certified divers will be provided with all the necessary equipment for a sensational scuba experience that includes two dive sites. After a brief boat ride to the first site and safety orientation, Guests will dive approximately 60 feet below the surface for their aquatic adventure. Guests will then travel to a second site for a 40-foot dive experience.

Walking/Kayak Adventure (10 years and older)

On the walk to the kayak launching area, Guests will learn about the island's mangrove ecosystem and enjoy some bird watching along the way. Once onboard the kayak, Guests will paddle around Sea Star Point on the north side of the island. Guests will be given the opportunity to enjoy a 30-minute stop for some R & R at one of the island's secluded beaches.

Glass Bottom Boat Scenic Voyage

Your window to the world under the sea is aboard a 46-foot glass bottomed trawler, which will take you on a 1 hour narrated eco tour. This tour will be available on the Disney Wonder® and Disney Magic® sailings.

Seahorse Snorkel Adventure (5 years and older and must be accompanied by an adult)

Guests will board a 63-foot catamaran that will whisk them away to a prime snorkeling spot amid the colorful reefs that encircle Castaway Cay. Guests will be provided with snorkeling gear and

a brief orientation before exploring the amazing underwater world. After snorkeling, complimentary snacks and beverages will be served before the return trip to Castaway Cay. Guests will be able

to pre-book beginning May 6th.

Grand Cayman

The Grand Cayman Beach Break shore excursion has been cancelled.

We will now offer Aqua Boat and Snorkel Adventure in Grand Cayman (10 years and older).

One port of call for the Disney Magic® and

the Disney Wonder® is Castaway Cay,

Disney's private island in the Bahamas.

They've taken the island's decidedly

inappropriate history--it's said to be a

former fueling stop for drug-running

airplanes--and fictionalized it, inventing a

story about a group of castaways

who once made the island home.

This is the island experience as theme

park: scrubbed-down and sanitized.

But with its customary attention to detail,

from island music to bright pastel beach

umbrellas, Disney has created a small paradise for families who want a day to sun, swim or snorkel without worrying about safety or convenience. It's hard to quarrel with a setup that ensures such carefree enjoyment of the swaying palms, pale beaches and sparkling water of the Bahamas.

A tram ride away from the main beach, dining and entertainment area is a private beach for adults. There's a bar, a place to rent bicycles and two cabanas for massages in the open air, overlooking the sea. Unfortunately, there are very few slots available for massages; if Disney's going to boast about them so temptingly in its literature, it needs to be able to accommodate more guests than that from a ship that holds 2,400 people.
