Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955 and is made up of 8 themed lands. Walt Disneys magical touch in the creation of this theme park is evident everywhere. Disneyland has been and will continue to be cherished for decades to come.
Disney's California Adventure is the newest Disneyland Resort theme park featuring 55-acres of fun, California style. Originally planned as the West Coast version of EPCOT from Walt Disney World, this second gate signals the first major renovation at the Disneyland Resort since Disneyland Park first opened in 1955. The park itself from design to atmosphere recreates the kinetic and lively culture that is California.
At the center of all this excitement is the Downtown Disney District, featuring themed dining, entertainment and shopping opportunities galore. It's the heart of the new Disneyland® Resort and it's always active-day and night! Guests will find Downtown Disney District a great getaway for a night on the town.

DISNEYLAND JR CHEF BAKING EXPERIENCE:
New to the Disneyland resort this year is the Nestlé Toll House Junior Chef Baking Experience. This experience is free to park guests on a first come first serve basis. The event takes place up to 5 times a day on the patio of the Plaza Pavilion in Disneyland. The experience is 25 minute and during this time the 20 children are divided into two teams and given given a selection of the famous recipe and ingredients. Once they combine the ingredients, the children help scoop the dough onto the cookie sheets and the head Junior Chef Baker takes the cookies to Mickey’s Magic Oven for baking.

From Imagination to Celebration is the newest tour offered at Disneyland Park.
