Indiana Jones™ Epic Stunt Spectacular!
Fiery explosions, earthquakes, and other dramatic events give guests an insight into the science of movie stunts and special effects. Stunt Coordinator, Glenn Randall, of the Indiana Jones movies, directs this extravaganza in which key scenes from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" are re-enacted to demonstrate to guests how stunts are designed and performed safely. In addition to the professional stuntmen and women, audience volunteers are selected to act in the scenes. Stunt designers and crewmembers describe how it is done behind the scenes and in front of the camera. The hilarious pre-show performance will make you forget about the heat. The 30 minute performance in the 2000 seat outdoor canopied amphitheater includes an exciting fight sequence in a Cairo market and the show ends with a bang.
Note: This is a major attraction and lines get longer as the day goes on.
The memorabile scene where Harrison Ford where he is chased by a 12-foot-tall ball is re-inacted. The steam and flames are so intense that the audience can feel the heat. Then the crew dismantles the set, revealing just how light the movie props are. As the assistants roll the ball up hill for the next show.
This show is wheelchair accessible. For guests who are hearing impaired, assistive listening devices are available from Guest Services.
