Islands of Adventure

Universal Attractions

It all begins here. Adventurous souls, drawn to the towering light house, gather
for the Thrill Ride experience of a lifetime.

Port of Entry
The gateway to the five fascinating islands in the park.  Here in this hectic port
town, you will begin the feel the excitement of the adventure which awaits you!
Merchants and street peddlers will supply with all the gear you'll need for your
journey.  You may even want to grab a quick bite to eat, as you have a long
expedition ahead. The Port of Entry is a mix of Asian, Mediterranean and Middle
Eastern styles, meant to make you feel as if you are everywhere, somewhere
and nowhere all at the same time.  Inside the Port of Entry, all five islands in the
park come together through messages and fixtures lining the rooftops and walls
of the Port.

Jurassic Park:
"Rising from the mist of the earth's primordial past, a remarkable voyage of
discovery awaits.  Within the lush tropical jungle of Isla Nublar, creatures
that eons ago roamed the planet in terrifying fashion, have returned.  Just
inside Jurassic Park's gates, the Discovery Center welcomes guests with
demonstrations of actual raptor hatchings.  The Jurassic Park River Adventure
takes guests serenely past various dinosaur habitats- unless a T-Rex gets
loose!  The Triceratops Encounter allows a first-ever chance to pet a living,
breathing dinosaur.  Soar above the treetops in the Pteranodon Flyers.  It's a
fantastic journey into earth's history you'll never forget."  "Spared no expense."

The Lost Continent:
"The truly adventurous can now explore a place that sheds light on the world's oldest mysteries.  Travel below the sea and witness a battle between gods in Poseidon's Fury.  Discover an ancient grotto on the outskirts of a desert marketplace, where you can join a swashbuckling adventure on The Eight Voyage of Sindbad.  The enter the dark, medieval of Merlin and dine in an Enchanted Oak Tavern before you mount one of two Dueling Dragons in a high-speed, roller-coaster battle across the skies in the wondrous land of the Lost Continent."

Suess Landing
"What would you say to an extraordinary day?  Would you go with a cat in
a very tall hat, on an adventure that's new with Thing One and Thing Two?
What's this you've found- a whirly-go-round with not One Fish or Two Fish
but also Red Fish and Blue Fish. What do you say to a Green Eggs and
Ham Cafe?  Would you ring the bell of a Caro-Seuss-el filled with Cowfish,
Dog-o-lopes and Aqua Mop Tops?  All of these will appear on a day very
near from an island that sings with Seussian things."

Marvel Super Hero Island:
"The city juts into the sky-a monument to to the dynamically unexpected.
Within, super-human men and women pit themselves on opposite sides of
good and evil.  And what of the innocent bystanders who wander into this city?
Will they join in to rescue the Statue of Liberty in the Amazing Adventures
of SpiderMan?  Will they rocket up through 200 menacing feet of steel only
to face the dreadful plunge of Dr. Doom's Fearfall?  Will they be transformed
by the slingshot gamma ray booster as they go from zero to 40 mph in two
seconds and launch into the Incredible Hulk Coaster?  Only those who visit
Marvel Super Hero Island will know.  To be continued..."

Toon Lagoon:
"It's kooky!   It's wacky!  It's the knee-slap happy world of your favorite cartoon and comic strip characters.  And it's coming to life.

below the water in an explosive attempt to save
Nell from the evil Snidley Whiplash in Ripsaw Falls.
Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges for a sloshy, churning,
white-knuckle raft ride.
