Liberty Square

As you enter Liberty Square, you'll hear the whoops and hollers emanating from the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon Revue, the blast of the horn of the Liberty Belle Riverboat, the wolf howls from the Haunted Mansion and see the colonial fashions of the Cast Members. The Hall of Presidents, the Liberty Tree and a replica of the Liberty Bell lend a historical flavor to Liberty Square. The architecture features the wavy glass pane windows of old, clapboard or brick buildings and weather vanes. Beautiful gardens of brightly colored azaleas and Japanese yew are found here.

Hall of Presidents:
The Hall of Presidents is a one-of-a-kind Disney classic originally envisioned
by Walt Disney himself. In the moving and patriotic show, which features a film
in which specially produced paintings are projected onto a huge screen, guests
learn about the origins of the Constitution and the presidency, and the
challenges both have faced since the founding of the Republic.

Then, in the most dramatic moment of the show, the screen parts to reveal
America's presidents, brought to life by the magic of Disney's Audio-
Animatronics technology, which electronically combines and synchronizes
voices, music, sound effects, animation and other show elements to give
life-like movement to three-dimensional figures. A patriotic and emotion-stirring
inale finds the figure of our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, rising from his
chair to deliver words that still resonate with modern audiences, almost 140
years after they were first spoken.

The Haunted Mansion:  Pictures
This popular attraction starts to line up outdoors under a canopy. It can
get very hot waiting here in the summer months. As they wait, guests
are treated to the humorous headstones that have inscriptions such as
"Here lies poor old Fred, A great big rock fell on his head". The mansion
itself is of the gothic style reminiscent of the 18th Century Hudson River
Valley structures . FASTPASS Ride

Liberty Belle Riverboat:
An authentic replica of an old paddle wheel riverboat. It travels down the
Rivers of America and circles Tom Sawyer Island several times a day.
This scenic tour offers a variety of props along the riverbank to simulate a
wild west effect. While not a thrilling adventure, this 16 minute long attraction
offers a short respite from the busy crowds. The boat holds approximately
450 guests and has 3 decks from which to view the passing scenery. The
boat is wheelchair accessible.
