Disney's Old Key West Resort
Theme:
Turn-of-the-century Key West. It is decorated with ceiling fans and
accented with gingerbread trimming. The pace is leisurely with a mix
of pastel colors. The vacation homes overlook waterways and a
golf course. There are four different Vacation Homes to choice from...
Studios:
These are similar to your standard hotel room. There are two queen-
size beds plus a table. Opposite the closet is a counter and sink,
with a coffee pot, a small microwave, and a counter-high refrigerator.
There is a sliding glass door that goes from the room to a small patio. The patio has two patio chairs and a small end table.
One Bedrooms:
One bedrooms are a full sized unit, consisting of a kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry room, and
bedroom. The bedroom has a king sized bed, a chair, plus an armoire with drawers and TV. An additional chest with drawers is provided. The bathroom is larger then would be expected. It is divided into two areas. One has a whirlpool tub and a pedestal sink. The other area has the commode, shower, and vanity sink. The one-bedroom units built after the first phase have a door into the bathroom from the laundry room. This provides access without having to go through the bedroom.
The living area has a full couch and a love seat. The couch opens up into a bed, so that the unit will sleep a total of four people. The kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses, etc. are provided.
The patio is accessible from the living room and the master bedroom.
Two Bedrooms:
Two bedrooms are essentially a studio and one-bedroom combined. The main difference is that the second bedroom does not have the small kitchen items that the studio has. Two bedroom vacation homes will sleep a total of eight people.
Three Bedroom Grand Villa:
The Grand Villa is the most luxurious unit, with three bedrooms and 4 baths. Consisting of two stories, the first floor has a kitchen, a full dining room, large living room, bathroom, laundry room, and the master bedroom. The master bedroom is the same layout as described in the one bedroom. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms, one with two queen size beds, the other with two double beds. Each room has it's own full bathroom and the master bedroom is the only one with the whirlpool tub. The patio is accessible from the living room and the master bedroom, with a full size patio table and four chairs.
