Disney's Value Resorts
Providing playful, bright environments and free bus transportation to all of the Walt Disney World® Parks and activities. Smaller spaces, food courts, and outdoor entrances (motel style) that make these resorts cost less. Rooms are plentiful in this category.
Disney's Moderate Resorts
Have more theming to the environment, more square feet of floor space per room, a restaurant with full service in addition to a food court, and recreation options like cycling and boating Transportation to Disney's activities is by bus.
Disney's Deluxe Resorts
Are the most elegant of Disney's theming with grand lobbies and indoor room entrances (hotel standard). Dining options often include three to five restaurants in the resort, and recreation options include tennis and health clubs. Rooms are larger and include more amenities like coffee makers, ironing boards, etc. Transportation to and from Disney's activities includes boat and monorail, depending upon the resort, in addition to buses.
Disney's Home-Away-From-Home Resorts
Offers a spacious environment that includes a kitchen area (small in the studio and full size in the one, two and three bedroom models). There is a sitting area, and most have washers and dryers. Themed to the environment, transportation, dining, and recreation.
Other Deluxe Walt Disney World® Resorts
Located in the DownTown Disney area, within walking distance to DownTown Disney Marketplace, Pleasure Island and DownTown Disney West Side.
Located 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World.
Complimentary, scheduled shuttle service is provided for resort guests to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World.
Refillable Mugs Program
At the Walt Disney World® Resorts you can purchase refillable mugs for around $12.49. They allow you to refill it free at your resort, for the duration of your vacation. This is a great savings.
The actual beverages may vary slightly from resort to resort. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and sodas are available at all of the resorts with this plan. Juices and milk are not available with the refill mugs.
Most mugs are available for purchase at the resort food courts or snack restaurants.
Refillable mugs at the water parks cost $10 ( tax included )
Note: refills for water park mugs cost $5/day for mugs brought back on subsequent visits.
