The only place to see Shamu is in his Stadium. This is a very
popular attraction everybody wants to see the whale, it's going
to get real crowded in there. Be sure to purchase tickets well
in advance, and figure on arriving a few extra minutes before
showtime to get a good seat. If you don't want to get wet,
beware the Splash Zones, although they do afford the best
views of the show and therefore the most fun. The standard show length is twenty to thirty minutes. Definitely not to be missed at any cost
The Shamu Stadium is home to the spectacular Shamu Orca / Killer Whale show, held throughout the day, and also to the Shamu Night Magic show held prior to the park's closure each evening. Avoid the first 14 seated rows of the stadium if you're taking a camera or camcorder unless they're waterproof!
For those who wish to linger with Shamu and friends, Shamu Close Up offers unparalleled views of Shamu and his companions as they swim and interact. With specially designed observation decks and panoramic underwater viewing, the opportunities for close-up observation of these magnificent marine mammals are a must see.
