Northeast US Rental Cars

KentuckyA trip to the Northeast region of the United States was something completely different, mainly because the farther up north you go the more fast paced things get. At the Hertz I went to there was a wide selection of cars, it seemed like when I was there everyone wanted deals on Northeast US Rental Cars. I started off in Kentucky which was relatively slow paced, I went into Mammoth Cave which is the longest cave system in the world, the tour was pretty long but very interesting as well. In fact the only thing I regret about this road trip is not spending more time in Kentucky , or most of the states for that matter. But I had to make my way up to New York to watch a Yankees game which is something I haven’t done since I was a little kid. Cruising through West Virginia I couldn’t help but stop at the Tidewater Grill where I enjoyed a nice lunch. And took off to make a ride through Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania is one of the most interesting states I’ve been to mainly because at times it’s nice and layed back with trees, livestock, and dirt roads and it can quickly change into a small city within a few minutes of driving. I stopped at Drexel University to pick up my cousin who would be attending the Yankees game with me, since we were running late we were not able to stop at the Philadelphia Zoo or even to drive passed the Liberty Bell! But we just figured that we would stop by on the way back from the game. Though I’m not really a New York Yankee Stadiumfan of huge buildings and traffic driving from Philadelphia to New York City was pretty painless and easy, probably because everything going on kept me distracted while driving on the way there. We stopped at my grandmother’s house in Queens and parked my car there and got a taxi to travel around the city, the reason behind that is because it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find a parking spot in the city so I’d rather just spend the money on a taxi to drop us off there’s no way it could possibly work out cheaper but if you’re as impatient as me it’s worth every cent. On our way back we did get to catch up on the missed opportunities in Philadelphia before I had to drop my cousin off. The way back to Kentucky wasn’t the most fun of my road trip adventures because I took the same way there to get back instead of just randomly finding my way home like I usually do but the trip was well worth it.
