Northwest Car Rental

Being from Florida the Northwest was a totally different experience for me. I did not trust my old car to make it all the way up there so I decided to fly over to Alaska and make my way down to Nebraska and return to Florida . The only reason I decided to fly all the way to Alaska is because there are no roads to drive there! Landing in Anchorage I rented my first car from Alamo Car Rental, I drove around town and picked up some souvenirs, the next day I went salmon fishing in Knudson Cove where we caught over 100lbs of fish! Taking a short flight from Alaska to Washington I rented a car from Budget right at the Spokane International Airport . I had a meal at Creektown Café and it was amazing! After that I headed over to the Olympic National Forest where I took a few pictures of the wildlife. The next day I began my trip to Oregon ; I’ve always been fascinated with Oregon yet never been so I was very excited when I entered the state. The first place I visited was the Portland Art Museum , I heard a lot of great reviews about their Native American center so it was a must see when visiting. I regret not eating a great dinner in Oregon but I had a long ways to go to get to Idaho . I didn’t really do much in Idaho besides drive through it and stop at a few fast food restaurants and enjoy the scenic mountains and rock sprawls on my way over to Wyoming . In Wyoming I got tired of driving and decided to take a ride around on both the Street Railway Trolley and the Big Boy Steam Engine they were both great experiences and even better because we were in such a beautiful state. Next on my trip list was the Dakotas, I’ve been to both North and South Dakota already but I’ve done something new every time. Before doing anything I had a delicious lunch at the Pirogue Grill, the Midwest flavors just set the scene of this restaurant. After my lunch I took a ride to the Painted Canyon to take a helicopter tour, the view was very unique and next time I go it will be during the sun rise because according to the locals that’s the best time to view the canyon. In South Dakota I repeated the same thing I always do while in the state, visited Mount Rushmore for as long as I’ve been alive Mount Rushmore has always been interesting to me so I make sure I visit it every time I’m in the area. The last stop on my list was Nebraska the first place we went was The Fun Plex which is Nebraska ’s version of a theme park. Coming from Florida I’ve seen almost every theme park however the smaller more family oriented parks are a lot more fun than a busy theme park packed with tourists. The Northwest US Car Rental experience was so easy that dropping the car off was the easiest step of the entire process, I just handed the keys to the people at the airport signed everything I had to sign and took off back to Florida .
