Southwest US Car Rental Codes
One of my favorite road trips of all
time was the Southwest. Mainly because of the style of land, it almost feels as
if you are in another country at some point. My route for this trip was
relatively simple: start in Texas and end in Kansas . Sounds easy right? Not
when you have to make a pitstop in California ! I’ve been to Texas once or
twice before this trip however all I did was wait in the airport for a
connecting flight. One thing I was skeptical about doing in Texas was visiting
the Zilker Botanical Gardens mainly because I don’t see the point in looking at
flowers all day, however I was so wrong about it, I actually enjoyed the 30
acres of trail surrounded by colorful flowers that I’d never see in Florida.
After leaving the botanical garden I began my journey to New Mexico I’ve heard
that there is a lot of fun things to do there but I had no time to stop and
part take in any of the activities. I went to sleep in New Mexico and when I
woke up, right next to the sun was a hot air balloon I was tempted to get in
one by the end of the day but apparently the weather has to be a certain way
for it to go up and I was not guaranteed I’d be able to get on it so I began to
make my way to Arizona. I’ve been to Arizona before, during the summer – not
the wisest of choices. Luckily it was a lot cooler out this
time of year so I got to enjoy more of
the great outdoors as opposed to the great air conditioned in doors. I got to
visit the Sabino Canyon which was a great experience, even though all canyons
are relatively the same I believe they are all unique in their own ways. I
spent the night in Arizona and woke up very early to take a ride to California
so I could go to DisneyLand for a special event. I spend two days in the
DisneyLand area and enjoyed everything it had to offer. After leaving
California I decided to make a trip through Las Vegas , Nevada and well, what
happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. On my way back to Kansas I decided not to stop
as often as I was doing on the way mainly because I was cutting it pretty close
with my flight time and even though I saved a lot of money using
Southwest US Car Rental Codes I didn’t want to miss such an expensive
flight. Utah and Colorado are great places with lots of sights to see and a lot
of open roads. Making my way back to Kansas was a pleasant experience. A very
nice place, I’m glad I got to visit nearly every state in the southwest region.
